Nebuchadnezzar

Next Tuesday, I plan on driving across town to my folks place and watching the election. Even though I don’t have cable, I’ve gotten along well enough with my online resources: CNN streaming video, Huffington Post, Salon, and TPMtv on YouTube. But next Tuesday…that just won’t do. This is a time for being with my family gathered around the television, all holding tight to the vision, to the belief, to the knowledge that “The One” will become president.

If you ever seen “The Matrix”, you’ll remember the Nebuchadnezzar. This was the ship that held “the family” together. Through thick. Through thin.  More or less, they all believed in The One. With a shared vision and shared dedication, they wanted to help make it happen.

So, next Tuesday, I encourage you to find your own  Nebuchadnezzar. It’s the only place to be.
