The Day Before

So much activity. Both candidates are out on the trail today…a long day’s trail, mind you. I read that Obama will visit FL, NC and VA while McCain will be TN, VA, NC, PA, NM & AZ. Whew! I know when it’s bedtime, I wish them both a deep sleep. Even though I know it won’t be. They’ll probably won’t sleep well for another 48 hours.

If I were a candidate what would I do? Take just a few minutes here and there, whenever I had the moment to just breathe. Slowly. Focusing just on my breath, nothing else. Even they did so for 2-3 minutes, they would find a little more peace, a little more stability, a little more rested during this frenetic time.

Hmmm…that sounds good. Think I’ll take a minute (or two) myself. Been reading a few—not too positve–blog posts recently… I could use a little peace right now.
